From the other thread.
The presumed candidates for Counselor at Large:

Jass Stewart (I)
Shayla Barnes (I)

Jass Stewart may not run?
I'll keep this post updated with more information as I find out or as it's posted.

BROCKTON – The election later this year is expected to shake up the City Council, with a handful of councilors already saying they won’t run again and others on the fence.
Jass Stewart will not run for reelection per Enterprise.

There's next to nothing there now, so I cannot see the resistance to it. There's almost no neighbors to complain.
Sorry, off topic. But, still on topic. Our city leaders need to be more forward thinking, open minded, and understand how our fears can stifle our potential growth. There's more profit in building bigger, and allowing people to build bigger might attract some more real developers. I think we're lucky Trinity stepped in. I also think I just read that Trinity phase I is already 70-75% leased. That means they should start Phase II immediately, not in a couple years as Yunits mentioned. This type of success needs to be parlayed into bigger and better things.

while you're at it, how about an ordinance for white picket fences in outlying suburbs, a couple drive-ins, and an apple orchard at DW?

I'm glad CC TABLED raise request and hope doesn't come back until every Union Contract is settled. As well as the Lawsuit that's bleeding the taxpayers .

The idea is to find documents relevant to the history of a property to confirm its ownership and legal status. Nicastro considers title searches an art, and she is proud of her ability to dive into a complex issue and unearth the relevant.
“I have a practice that when there is ever something before me, I read and ask questions,” Nicastro said. “That approach would be beneficial on the City Council.”

Nicastro is one of 12 city residents who had pulled nomination papers to run for councilor-at-large as of Friday afternoon. She is a former member of the Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals.
FYI she's also against Power Plant and is named in the Power Plant court case. She does seem to have experience which is a plus. 12 running for CAL no matter what happens they'll be new faces.

They also have something on 09/15 which is a SC meeting which BTW I have only missed one in 20 months.
My opponent missed 12 SC meetings in 4 years
We only have 18 reg sc meetings per year
