And when she did, she didn't look like she wanted to be there. Never answered an email but that's par for the course for most of our elected officers.
Until they're running of course, then they become very accessible

Personally, I have never met her and have nothing against her whatsoever, for me it's a point of an elected official not even living in the district she is supposed to represent that doesn't sit well with me.

I can't imagine the Vice Chair, Super and the Mayor who heads the SC would be aware of this development and let it continue? Or at least I hope not. It wouldn't be right for someone who doesn't live in the COB to have a vote in the laying off of 173 teachers and 50 Paras/MTA

I'm making no claims as to who knew, or what. All I know is that it was brought to my attention. I would hope that an official would do the right thing, especially considering she has no intention of running again.

Incumbent Allisha Clark of Ward 3 no longer lives in Brockton and Patricia Joyce in Ward 4 is retiring. Ward 6’s Ossie Jordan, will not run again.
Ward 2 incumbent Andrew P. Robinson has two challengers so far: John R. Andrade and Lisa M. Plant.
Contenders for Clark’s Ward 3 seat include Mark S. D’Agostino, who ran and lost in 2013, Elliot “Ed” Miller and Blessing N. Rogers.
Timothy Sullivan held the Ward 7 post for four years before stepping down in 2013, is now challenging first-term incumbent Raymond M. Henningson Jr.
Brett Gormley, Tony Branch and Nilton G. Monteiro have taken out papers to run for the seat held since 2005 by Joyce.
Like Minichiello, Ward 5 committee member Judy Sullivan is also currently running unopposed.
Joyce J. Asack has taken out papers for Jordan’s Ward 6 seat.

That includes the Ward 3 School Committee race, where Mark S. D'Agostino, Elliot “Ed” Miller and Blessing N. Rogers are vying for two seats.
In Ward 4, Tony Branch, Brett Gormley and Nilton G. Monteiro are competing.
In the Ward 7 School Committee race, incumbent Raymond M. Henningson Jr. is defending his seat against challenger Timothy J. Sullivan, who stepped down from the post in 2013 after holding it for four years.
