New, Sneaky Landlocked Housing in West Bridgewater via Brockton Street

Not sure if anyone here follow this. The bench hearing started yesterday at Plymouth County Superior court regarding the sewer easement/COB ownership issue. Any information that comes, please share. This faded in 2017 as the law suit evolved. We are all still here, opposed to the project.

Last November, the Petronelli family sent a letter to abutters requesting their support regarding the parcels of land impacted by the 1892 sewer main taking by the COB. They threatened that everyone's property titles will not be clean when we try to sell our homes. To quote, "Your house may be determined to be unlawful and you may be deemed a trespasser in your own home. For all intents and purposes your property may be considered worthless."

Basically, those of us who own land containing the easement, must not build a permanent structure on it. That was disclosed with each purchase along the way, including the Petronelli family, since they gained ownership of the land after 1893. Conveniently, the children did not attempt this scheme until Mr. and Mrs. were deceased.

It's not a big deal, really, unless you want to build a road that will lead to 33 homes in West Bridgewater and you expect residents of Brockton to lay down the red carpet for you to do it. I reiterate the terrible traffic that already feeds onto my street from rude West Bridgewater "Route 106 avoiders" who think it's OK that I must wait for 15 minutes during busy times of the day to cross. I will happily keep clear the patch of my lawn under which a sewer main lives. I will not be intimidated by someone who uses Benjamin Albanese's language and fear tactics to strong-arm our neighbors.
