Capt... Clearly, you and MacMillan are of the same mindset on this issue.

I wasn't voting for MacMillan but not sure how anybody could vote for a potential Mayor and former CC candidate when they choose to send a child outside the BPS system to WB. Not for special circumstances. How can they lobby for funds for the School System when they send their children outside it?

If taxes are raised it is because the money is needed. With no real commercial tax base what else can be done? The Casino and the power plant and the sale of effluent water would bring in over $14 Million a year. Even if the Casino only brings in $6 Million a year, that is still $6 Million a year we are not getting now. WTF is wrong with you people?

Well, from Marci and I. And many other residents who are sick of the BS and see Carpenter actually trying to do something in the City. He's trying. More than Balzotti did in her 2 terms. Again, WTF is wrong with you people?
(I should run for Mayor. I'll use "WTF is wrong with you people?" as a campaign slogan.)

Separately, Carpenter wants to bond out I believe 14million for a variety of things. It will require an override. And that's not ok, when you ran on a NO NEW TAXES
And just because I or anyone else doesn't support your candidate for a variety of reasons there isn't anything WTF wrong with me. He said no new taxes.

I don't accept this blind acceptance of higher taxes. There could be a million reasons why a city requires additional revenue such as mismanagement of a budget, unwarranted raises, a lack of better ideas, so many things. While I am not accusing Carpenter specifically of wrongdoing, I need a whole lot more information than "we need more money" in order to stretch my budget further. Right now I am angry that so many properties in this city are not taxable. Can I devise my own religion, gather my family members, and have my property taxes waived? Sure seems like others have no problem getting away with this.

An increase is an increase no matter how small and no I'm not confused. I follow all this very closely. And I hate Carpenter supporters who WTF me or imply I'm confused just because I don't agree with your candidates stance or platform. The CC is stalling the PP not the 17 other items he's bonding out.

One. I spoke to Archard and asked her if she voted for the increase and of course she said no. I asked her to prove it and post a link to the minutes and she sent me a link that was supposedly the minutes of that meeting and of course it wasn't. She voted yes.
Two. Refer to Factsbfacts
Three. I've never really heard from you until the teachers got laid off. That appears to be your one crusade, the schools. There's more to the City than schools, there's safety and infrastructure too. If you can't see the value in purchasing a fire truck over cutting a few paychecks then I'm glad your not voting.
