Help for Angelo school students was created by iluvbrockton
Hi everyone,
I am asking for your help today because as you know, funds are low for Brockton classrooms, especially this year. Teachers are struggling to purchase materials for the children. The 5th grade teachers at the Angelo School would like to purchase littleBits Steam Class Packs for the students. These are kits that allow the kids to build items with a power source, inputs, outputs, and wires. They will focus on real-world problem solving, technology, and critical thinking. LittleBits help students develop key skills for learning and career readiness. The kids are very excited and hope that the money can be raised for these kits. Any amount you can give will help tremendously. You can just copy this link and paste it into your browser:

Thanks for your help,
Joan

Hey Joan,
Welcome to InBrockton. Share this topic to facebook and see if we can get more activity.
Also, Ray Henningson is pretty instrumental in getting donations for schools. Perhaps he can get some momentum going.

It was a federal grant. Your taxes aren't going up. Many cities/towns apply and are granted. No problem with this. It's healthy meals, no adds allowed and the school system doesn't incur extra costs by ensuring all children are eating healthy meals.
